In early 2009, Lutheran Sunset Ministries opened a new skilled nursing facility. The program provides quality nursing services to those with long-term healthcare and rehabilitation needs. Whether you require 24 hour a day assistance, or need a short-term stay during rehabilitation, Sunset has the licensed personnel, trained staff, and modern facilities to care for you.

Our interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers prioritizes your individual needs to ensure you have the best possible outcomes of care. The team consists of licensed nursing personnel, social work, chaplaincy, and dietary staff. The resident’s family is also a welcome part of the care team.

The Sunset Home also offers specialized programs in memory care and rehabilitation in the Sales Family Hope Center, and the Wm. Martin Wellness Center.

Sunset Home accepts Medicare and Medicaid, as well as private pay and long-term care insurance. Qualifying conditions may apply to the federal and state programs, as well as to the individual’s insurance policy. The Sunset Home is licensed in the State of Texas through the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
