…Sunset’s Memory Care Facility

Adjacent to Sunset Home is the newly constructed facility dedicated to serving people who experience memory loss. The 32-bed facility is designed to maximize resident independence in a spacious environment. The building design is new to Sunset, but the long-term, experienced staff provides the continuity known to Sunset. The construction of this facility was a bold step taken by Sunset to provide an environment that maximizes independence in a serene setting.

Walking about, indoors and out, is extremely important to the health and well-being of a person who is experiencing symptoms of disorientation or confusion. The Sales Family Hope Center provides beautiful gardens and open spaces where residents can move about as they choose without feeling confined. The Center encourages exploration of small activity centers and provides spacious areas where residents can move about with ease. The Sunshine Support Group which is affiliated with the North Central Texas Alzheimer’s Association and meets monthly is available to families and friends for support and education.
